The Mathologists is honestly a great tuition centre. The friendly atmosphere in every lesson makes it very enjoyable compared to other tuitions. Michael is probably the best tutor I’ve ever had in soo many ways. He is great at providing simple explanations to help me consolidate complex concepts. The strong structural foundation of the booklets allow me to revise easily and spot any gaps in my knowledge. My friends first saw an ad on instagram and invited me to join them for a free trial and since then, I’ve been coming back twice a week for 3 and a half hours total. The Mathologists are extremely helpful and have guided me through my Year 11 Advanced Maths course, answering any confusions with certain maths concepts. This really helped to uplift the doubts I had in my abilities. The tutors are great as they’re keen and have a gift for teaching without pressuring a strict demeanor. 10/10.

Where are classes held?

All classes are held face-to-face. We currently operate across 3 campuses:
🟢 PARRAMATTA | 110 Church St (Level 3, Suite 2)
🟢 NORWEST | 1 Maitland Place (Level 2, Suite 20)

Do you offer one-to-one lessons?

We exclusively offer small group classes from 3 to 12 students in size. However, if we notice that a student is really struggling with school content and can seriously benefit from private classes, we will organise extra 1-on-1 classes for them. This varies on a case by case basis.

Are there holiday classes?

Yes! Our weekly lessons continue to run throughout the school holidays. This ensures that students can get ahead with the syllabus content so that they have plenty of time for revision to ace their school exams.

Why enrol at The Mathologists?

We're great at mathematics and even better at teaching it. Our depth and sophistication for the subject is second to none and this shows itself across the board from our perfectly crafted theory booklets to our easy-to-understand in-class explanations of even the most challenging topics in the HSC.

Everything that we do, we keep our students in mind. This is why we go to great lengths like building our own proprietary software to generate custom exam papers for students so that they can have personalised practice. Our laser-like focus on a single subject means that we understand how to help our students better than anyone else in the industry.

How much does tutoring cost at The Mathologists?

We charge a flat rate of $40/hour. Each term consists of 12 lessons; 10 lessons during the school term + 2 lessons during the holidays.

Maths Advanced (2U)
Students in the Advanced (2U) course attend weekly 2 hour lessons. This totals to $960/ term.

Maths Extension 1 (3U)
Students in the Extension 1 (3U) course attend weekly 3 hour lessons. This totals to $1440 / term.
